White Bean Hummus

This is an awesome and quick dip that you can make when you’re in a pinch or unexpectedly have friends popping by. This recipe is super versatile so you can tailor to your own tastes using spices that you love. I use Garam Masala and dried ginger, but if you don’t have them you can just omit or swap for another flavor.

1-15.5 ounce can Cannellini beans, drained and rinsed 

1/4 cup tahini 

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil 

1 large garlic clove 

1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt 

1 1/2 teaspoons Garam Masala 

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 

Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with a bit of olive oil and a dash of Garam Masala. Serve with pretzels and vegetables of your choice.
